Is Cancelled Until Further Notice
Dear Colleagues, Students, and Friends,
Given this international health crisis, it is our opinion that it is irresponsible to continue planning for the conference as planned. We are reaching out to you with great regret to notify you that the High Council of Moroccan American Scholars and Academics (www.hc-masa.org) and the organizing committee decided to cancel AMAS V Conference in Tangier, Morocco until further notice.
We thank all the students and colleagues who submitted their abstracts for oral and poster presentations and those who paid their registration fees.
The organizers will provide full refunds to all attendees who paid their registration fees starting Monday March 16, 2020. If you paid and did not receive an email notification, please send us the following to get your refund:
- Your full name
- The amount you paid and currency (Moroccan Dirham, US Dollar)
- Your mailing address to mail you a check
Attendees must cancel hotel rooms directly with the hotel, we are unable to cancel your hotel room for you. Please cancel hotel rooms immediately so you do not incur any cancellation fees with the hotel. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us at: abstracts2020@amas-conference.org.
As always, the health and safety of our communities are of utmost concern. In this health crisis, please follow the recommendations of national and local health professionals to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.
